Use the Aston Martin 6.0 V12 based on the twin Duratec V6 engines. Put the engine in an extended D2C (or E8 Falcoln) platform. Give the V12 heads from the turbo Ecoboost engines. Call it the Lincoln Zephyr.
Result: Twin Turbo 6.0l V12, ecoboost-conservative at 550-600HP, with that shares suspension and drivetrain parts with the Falcoln or Mustang.
Make the interior look like this:
Price it at $75,000 for a base model Coyote V8 ("continental") in 2 or 4 doors, and $115,000 for the 6.0l V12 4-door ("Zephyr").
Put it in this ad:
And Introduce us to the Motherfucking Lincoln Motor Company.

And get rid of the silly visible antenna stalk on the rear drivers' side quarter panel while you're at it.

EDIT: I see your post now! I never read it.
A new Zephyr has been proposed many times on Oppo. I took a crack at it about 4-5 months ago when I wrote a giant post asking "what if the Lincoln Zephyr V12 caught on, instead of the Flathead V8?", that's where I first proposed that marketing a new Zephyr with an Aston Martin V12 would be ideal.
If anything, consider this a post extension of yours, explaining how they could hack together a working car using the available parts they have.

Oh. Well I wasn't here 4-5 months ago. I was just thinking that because I posted it earlier today, you might have copied me. Sorry!

No problem.
For the record, while I can't dig up that post anymore, I basically suggested that if the Flathead V8 had been a flop, America would have never bought in to cross-plane V8s.
This would mean that Cadillac would have made their own V12, and Ford would have used the Australian I6 motors in the US market first, resulting in an SOHC I6 Mustang in the 60s. With the US exporting V12 sedans and sports cars, companies like Ferrari would have been in worse financial positions, resulting in Ford owning Ferrari and Lincoln as their main marques.

Great idea. Update the styling as well. Lincoln needs to make some bold moves to stay alive.

Didn't Ford buying Ferrari almost happen anyway?

I actually really like the styling on the recent Zephyr before it became the MKZ. It was a good response to the 300C. The chrome trim, and short-stubbyness of the rear made it look really cheap.

Yep. It would have just taken a little more pressure before Le Mans to make Ferrari cave and sell to Ford.

I made two big changes: 1. Edsel Ford doesn't die. 2. The Zephyr V12 is way more popular than the Flathead V8.
The rest I based off of existing engines and design trends of each time period.

Reminds me of a Ford 500, or a Ford built Jag from a ways back. Cattletruck got the CTS and ATS to be different and not so stodgy. That is what Lincoln needs to do. The future is not in older, established customers (although they can still attract that group with their current lineup). They need to go after the BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Cadillac customers.

The Ford 500 was built the D3 platform, whereas the Lincoln Zephyr (2006) used the CD3, a shorter version of it.

I was talking more about styling than platforms.
